Chery Tiggo 2 is a variation of the Chery A13 hatchback (called Chery Very in some markets), known in Ukraine as ZAZ Forza. The models have a similar body structure, shape of doorways, roofs and glazing. However, the design of the front end, lighting equipment and tailgate of the Tiggo 2 echoes the design of the older Tiggo 3 crossover. In addition, the “two” is larger than the hatchback, comes with protective pads on the wheel arches, sills and bumpers, and also has increased ground clearance. The Chinese premiere of the model took place in April 2016, and in the home market the five-door is called Tiggo 3X.

Overall length Chery Tiggo 2 - 4200 mm, width - 1760 mm, height - 1570 mm. Thus, the Chinese cross-hatchback is 128 mm longer, 27 mm wider and 11 mm higher Renault Sandero Stepway, which is based on a similar concept. The wheelbase of the Tiggo 2 is 2555 mm, and the trunk volume is 420 liters. The back of the second row is folded in a 60/40 ratio.

Tiggo 2 is equipped with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with distributed sequential injection. The power of the four-cylinder power unit reaches 106 hp, and the maximum torque is 135 Nm. Transmissions: 5-speed "mechanics" and 4-band "automatic". The clearance of the first modification is 186 mm, in the second case the ground clearance is 178 mm. Fuel consumption in the combined cycle of a car with manual transmission is 7.4 l/100 km. "Tiggo" with automatic transmission consumes 8.0 l / 100 km. The maximum speed does not exceed 170 km / h.
