Chery Tiggo 7 is a front-wheel drive crossover based on the Chery TX concept. The production version was introduced in April 2016.

The design of "Tiggo 7" is sustained in the "hydrodynamic" concept developed by Briton James Hope. Despite the seven in the name, the crossover is very close in size to Chery Tiggo 5FL, although slightly below it. The main difference is in the wheelbase - 2670 mm for the "seven" instead of 2610 mm for the "five" - ??and the chassis design with a new rear multi-link.

It is equipped with a 1.5-liter SQRE4T15 petrol turbo engine with a capacity of 152 hp. and maximum torque of 205 Nm. The turbo engine is combined with a 6-speed "mechanics", an alternative to which is a six-speed "robot" with dual clutch. In China, the model is also available with a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated SQRD4G20 (122 hp, 180 N m), which is paired with the same six-speed manual transmission or CVT, but we do not have such versions.

• Chery Tiggo 7 with a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a mechanical six-speed accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 10.5 seconds, and fuel consumption in the combined cycle according to the passport is 7.6 l / 100 km;
• Chery Tiggo 7 with a 1.5-liter turbo engine and a six-speed DCT “robot” accelerates from standstill to “hundreds” in 11.5 seconds, and the consumption in the combined cycle is declared at 7.3 l / 100 km.

Even in the basic configuration, the Chery Tiggo 7 pleasantly surprises with good equipment: two airbags (driver and front passenger), ABS and ESP systems (+ electronic emergency braking system (EBA), traction control system (TCS) and start-up assistance system on lifting), fog lights, factory alarm and central locking with remote control, keyless entry and engine start button. In addition, the "base" includes air conditioning, power windows for all doors, rear parking sensors and a rear view camera, cruise control, 6-range driver's seat adjustment, an on-board computer with a 4.8-inch TFT display, LED (LED) running lights, front central armrest with box, multimedia with a 9-inch touch screen (+ USB, Bluetooth and steering wheel controls) and alloy wheels with 225/60 R18 tires. Finally, the mirrors are electrically adjustable, but for some reason they are not heated.

In the top configuration, instead of the standard air conditioner, dual-zone climate control is provided, in addition to the rear parking sensors, a front one is installed, there is a 360 ° panoramic view system, side airbags and curtain airbags, a tire pressure sensor, a 6-band electric driver's seat and electric lumbar support. Also added are heated front seats and side mirrors, a panoramic roof, electric folding exterior mirrors, leather upholstery with perforated inserts, 6-speakers instead of 4 and 19-inch wheels with 225/55 R19 tires. At the same time, a power steering is installed in cars of the basic level of equipment, and an electric booster is installed in the older version.

Chery Tiggo 7 is produced in China. The crossover debuted on the Ukrainian market in February 2018.
