Chery Arrizo 7 (another name for Chery M16) is a front-wheel drive sedan introduced in 2013. The Ukrainian presentation of the model took place in September 2013 at Capital Auto Show.
The Arrizo 7 was designed by an international team of experts with experience from Ford, Chrysler, Opel and Porsche, while the chassis was fine-tuned by British sports car manufacturer Lotus. The new Chery sedan received a McPherson strut front suspension and an independent multi-link rear suspension. The basic equipment includes an ABS system with brake force distribution (EBD), as well as frontal airbags for the driver and passenger. In 2015, Arrizo 7 received the highest rating (5 stars) in the Chinese C-NCAP crash test series.
The Chery Arrizo 7 is supplied to the Ukrainian market with a 1.6-liter ACTECO SQRE4G16 gasoline aspirator. It is a four-cylinder engine with double overhead camshafts, dual variable valve timing (DVVT) and a variable intake system (VIS). The maximum power of the power unit is 126 hp, torque is 160 Nm (at 3900 rpm). It is combined with a mechanical five-speed and with a variator. Paired with a manual transmission up to 100 km / h, the sedan accelerates in 11.8 seconds, and with a CVT with winter mode, in 12.8 seconds.
The standard equipment of the Arrizo 7 includes rear LED lights, a media system with a 7-inch touch screen (USB, AUX connectors, an SD card slot, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls), air conditioning, power windows for all doors, a rear view camera, rear parking sensors, power mirrors, leather trim. The driver's seat and steering column are adjustable in height, center armrests are installed front and rear, and the second-row backrest folds in a 60/40 ratio. In addition, the sedan is equipped with 16-inch alloy wheels.
Serial production of Chery Arrizo 7 is established in China.
