Chery Tiggo 4 (aka Tiggo 5X in China) is a compact front-wheel drive crossover. Introduced in 2017, and already in 2018 received a restyled version. The presentation in Ukraine took place in November 2018. Built on the Chery T1X platform with a rear multi-link suspension, and the design is based on the 2014 Chery β concept in accordance with the modern concept of the Chery brand "Life in Motion" ("Life in motion").
Tiggo 4 entered the Ukrainian market with two engines to choose from: a 2.0-liter naturally aspirated (DVVT, 122 hp, 180 Nm) and a 1.5-liter turbocharged (147 hp, 210 Nm). The first is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission, the second - with a 6-speed "mechanics" or with a "robot" of a similar range. The manufacturer promises a consumption of 8.0 l / 100 km in a combined cycle for a two-liter unit and 7.2 liters per “hundred” for a one and a half liter unit.
Chery Tiggo 4 in Ukraine has three trim levels: Comfort, Luxury and Luxury DCT. Already in the basic equipment, which is offered with a 2.0-liter engine and a mechanical five-speed, the crossover boasts a wide list of equipment, including: 2 front airbags, ABS + EBD, ESP, Brake Assist, alarm and central locking with Remote control, ISOFIX child seat mounts, air conditioning, rear view camera + rear parking sensors, as well as cruise control. At the same time, the front and rear doors are equipped with power windows, the mirrors are electrically adjustable, the instrument panel is supplemented by an on-board computer with a 3.5-inch LCD display, the steering column is adjustable in height, the seats and steering wheel are covered with leather, there are two central armrests (front and rear), and in In the center of the front panel there is a multimedia system with a 9-inch touch screen, USB, Bluetooth and steering wheel controls.
For the Luxury package, a 1.5 turbo engine and a 6-speed “mechanics” are provided. In addition, additionally installed: side airbags, keyless entry and engine start, tire pressure sensor, six-band power driver's seat, on-board computer with a display enlarged to 4.8 inches, LED interior lighting, panoramic roof, front and rear fog lights. In addition, this level of equipment has 6 speakers (against 4 in the basic version) and 18-inch wheels instead of 17-inch ones.
The top version of the Luxury DCT has 2 additional USB connectors, power folding and heated exterior mirrors, power lumbar support for the driver's seat, an air conditioning deflector for rear passengers and an electronic parking brake.
